Tic Tac Toe is a game that has been played for centuries.
The objective of the game is to be the first player to get three in a row, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Players alternate turns placing Xs and Os on an empty grid of 3×3 squares.
It was thought that the game only became popular in the mid twentieth century, but a recent discovery has found that this is not true at all. In fact, some reliefs on an Ancient Egyptian tomb dating back 3200 years were found to display some simple Tic Tac Toe games.
